Managing Director
Edwin del Carpio is a CPA who likes to see his clients. There’s a time for number crunching, and he’s good at it, but he also invests time to meet with his clients and discuss sound strategies to dream big and succeed.
As founder and owner of Aldaris CPA, Edwin is licensed to practice public accounting in Washington and California and is an active member of the Seattle business community. In addition to his tenure in public accounting, Edwin worked in house for a variety of corporations and tech companies including Live Nation Merchandise and Archer Mobile. Today he works with individuals and families and helps small business clients grow from sole proprietorships to LLCs, S-Corps, C-Corps, and beyond. He is also a specialist and thought leader in the arena of cryptocurrency tax liability and blockchain reporting strategies. Edwin proudly supports Seattle’s thriving cultural scene and serves as a board treasurer of the Jet City Improv comedy troupe.

Senior Tax Accountant
Ruth is the latest addition to the Aldaris CPA Group. She prepares individual and corporate tax returns, assists with tax research and tax resolution matters, and manages client books and accounting records. By working in tandem with her CPA partners and project managers, Ruth helps ensure every client receives the highest quality service no matter how complex the project or how tight the deadline.
Makala Bennett
Workflow Manager
During the tax season, Makala helps the Aldaris team collect, organize, find, and return the dozens, if not hundreds, of documents it takes to prepare a client’s taxes. Makala also ensures all client files are well organized and requests further details from clients when necessary to ensure deadlines are met for tax filings.
